Enquiries are open; paid bookings are not

Our programme describes proposed education and advisory experiences. Displayed prices are indicative South African rand amounts, not offers you can purchase here. Availability, venue, dates, taxes, travel and inclusions must be confirmed in writing. Preparing or sending an enquiry does not reserve a place or create a booking.

Payments and cancellations

This website does not accept payments, deposits or card details. Before paid bookings open, the supplier’s legal details, final price, payment terms, cancellation and rescheduling policy must be provided. Any applicable consumer rights remain unaffected.

Learning and qualifications

Study preparation is independent support. The Cape Pour does not claim WSET, CMS, SASA or Cape Wine Academy provider accreditation or affiliation. A founder’s individual qualification is distinct from provider accreditation. Official course registration, materials and examinations remain with the relevant approved provider. No examination result or qualification is guaranteed.

Responsible participation

The experience is for adults 18 and older. Tasting is optional; water, spittoons, alcohol-free participation and safe transport should be part of event planning. Access and dietary arrangements are discussed privately when needed, with ingredients and suitability confirmed by the venue or supplier.

No alcohol sales

We do not sell bottles, accept alcohol orders or arrange alcohol deliveries through this website. Any tasting provision must be confirmed with an appropriate venue or licensed supplier, including the requirements that apply to the location and event.

Editorial and illustrative material

Wine profiles are educational starting points, not product guarantees. The bottle illustration is a sample profile, not an available product. Founder portraits and service photographs remain clearly marked where an approved image is still pending. Draft journal pieces are labelled for sommelier review.
